Scouting Report:

DiMarco is a high effort player that should stick on a NFL roster as a back-up fullback and special teamer.

Positives: DiMarco is an effort blocker and he plays hard. He can line up at multiple positions and still be an effective blocker, offering versatility. Shows some pop on initial contact. DiMarco runs hard and seeks out contact when he has the ball in his hands. Shows soft hands out of the backfield for a fullback and will have to be accounted for in the NFL.

Negatives: Not a very athletic player and he doesn’t drive block well for a fullback. Doesn’t have great hands out of the backfield, but they are solid. Doesn’t seem to have very good vision as a runner, he just kind of slams into the offensive line which gives him a bit of value in short yardage situations but overall he isn’t overly effective when running the ball.

Overall: DiMarco offers some value as a blocker, runner and receiver. He is solid in all aspects but not special in any of them. He warrants some late round consideration and he could be coached up and contribute on special teams but I am not sure he will ever be a starter.

Projection: 7th round. I think he deserves to be drafted as a back-up fullback and as a special teamer but I don’t know how high his ceiling is. His effort should help him secure a spot on a roster or a practice squad though.
