My name is Tom Melton and I am a 23 year old graduate of Beloit College with a Bachelors degree in Communications and Journalism. I worked for the football team there in a number of capacities, most notably as the primary film guy for all of their games (home and away). This involved filming the game and then uploading, cutting and matching the film up with the appropriate down, distance, etc. from the play by play. Then during the offseason I would look at the film from the past season and track blocking schemes, defensive fronts, WR alignments, etc.

What I truly love to do in my free time is scouting. I watch a lot of college football whether it the season is going or not so I can scout players who may one day be NFL prospects if they aren’t already. I watch as many games as I can of that player, take notes and then compile a scouting report when my opinion of the prospect has been solidified.

Hopefully you all enjoy the blog and come back often. I work very hard on all of the reports I write, so it will be nice to share them with everyone who reads them.
